HANYS Marketplace partners with UnityBPO to provide full lifecycle IT services to support healthcare organizations of every size
HANYS Marketplace® has partnered with UnityBPO, a healthcare technology service provider, to provide New York hospitals and health systems with IT services designed to meet the unique technology needs of healthcare organizations across the care continuum.
Unity delivers end-to-end technology support, from electronic health record and patient technology services to 24/7 AI-enabled service desks. It works closely with smaller hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation hospitals to deliver the full breadth of healthcare IT services these organizations need but may not have the scale to build or staff independently. By pooling and sharing services across its client base, Unity enables smaller healthcare entities to realize benefits typically reserved for much larger organizations.
For larger hospital systems with established internal IT organizations, Unity provides managed point services that supplement and strengthen existing operations, including field/deskside services, patient and clinical service desks, virtual care technology services, ancillary systems, virtual care platforms and print managed services.
From outsourcing small IT departments to contracting for specialized IT functions, Unity’s IT services help hospitals optimize and reduce IT costs.
“Healthcare organizations, regardless of size, face the same fundamental challenge: delivering reliable technology support that keeps clinicians focused on patient care,” said Al Campanella, executive vice president, HANYS Marketplace. “Smaller organizations often can’t achieve the economies of scale needed to access premium platforms and round-the-clock support on their own. Larger systems need targeted, specialized support that fits into what they’ve already built. Unity is built to serve both ends of that spectrum, and everything in between.”
“Partnering with HANYS allows Unity to extend our proven IT support solutions to hospitals across New York, helping them increase profitability and efficiency of their operations while providing extraordinary support to providers, clinicians, patients and members” said Steve Wade, CEO of UnityBPO. “We are proud to be a lifeline for clinicians, patients and members in their use of technology — stewarding the delivery of healthcare throughout the enterprise.”
Unity’s model reflects a broader shift in healthcare IT toward flexible, right-sized technology support — allowing organizations to focus their internal resources on strategic priorities and patient outcomes while relying on a trusted partner for day-to-day and specialized technology needs.
